"Have you ever seen one?" This creation was inspired from my favorite book, "Everything I know I learned in Kindergarden" by Robert Fulgram. I first read this in 1992 and the short story crayolas has stayed with me. This is how I picture a crayola bomb. If you have never read the story, I highly recommend it!

This unique accent lamp has the body of a inperfect gourd that has split during drying. I loved the shape and accented it with brown acylics with touches of bronze.
The pine needles are woven in two sections and the light can be seen from the second layer and the top of the gourd. Black leather lacing holds the dowel rods in position. The lacing is tied at the pine knot button.
